The American Polo Horse Association was founded in
2006 by Sunny Hale , to recognize the Polo Pony in America.
The APHA hosts the National Polo Pony Show annually.

APHA Mission:
To collect, record and preserve pedigrees of polo horses in the United States as well as to encourage events that showcase the polo horse.

APHA Registry:
The APHA registry is open to all horses being used for polo in the United States. Each horse that is registered receives a 5 picture online profile and eligibilty for APHA recognized events and awards.

APHA Membership:
Membership to the Association is offered on an annual or lifetime basis for people who would like to support the work of the APHA in recognizing polo horses and the equine side of polo.

The polo horse and its incredible abilities are the foundation of what makes the sport of polo so unique and all the more reason why it is time these great athletes receive the recognition they deserve.
