The American Polo Horse Association was established in 2006 to collect, record and preserve pedigrees of polo horses in the United States as well as to encourage events that showcase the polo horse.
Registration is open to any breed of horse, from any country of origin that is being used for polo in the United States. In order to establish the validity and maintain the integrity of the records, all horses being registered will be required to complete a DNA Sample Kit.
Registration of a polo horse also provides that horse and its breeder and trainers with the opportunity to be recognized for any future achievements.
General and Associate Memberships are available on an annual basis. General Membership is for individuals, farms or ranches that register horses. Associate Membership is for individuals, farms, ranches and companies to list a polo horse related service in the Directory of Services.
The Polo Horse and its incredible abilities are the foundation of what makes the sport of Polo so unique and all the more reason why it is time these great athletes receive the recognition they deserve.
